Everyone eagerly waited for the return of the smartphone maker Nokia, The company had launched the Nokia 3 in the maker a while earlier but the phone failed to meet the expectation and was unable to outshine its competitors. Now the next smartphone from Nokia, The Nokia 5 will be available for pre-order from mid-August. The device is priced at ₹12,899.
The device was earlier said o be available for pre-order from July 14, According to HMD the delay is due to overwhelming response to Nokia 3 and the company gives priority to boost up the production of Nokia 3 in order to meet the current customer demand.
“We are humbled by the response to Nokia 3. Currently, we are ramping up our production for Nokia 3 on priority to meet the existing consumer demand. In the coming week, we will start production of Nokia 6 and Nokia 5 to get them ready for sales start by mid-August,” a HMD spokesperson told Nokiapoweruser.
The Nokia 5 has a 5.2 inch 720p Display. The phone is powered by 1.4 GHz Qaud-Core Snapdragon 430 Processor and Adreno 505 GPU coupled with 2 GB of RAM. The device has only 16GB of internal storage, which is way too low fora device at this price point. In terms of Optics Nokia 5 has a 13MP camera at the rear and a 8MP front shooter for selfies. Nokia 5 comes with Android 7.0 Nougat. Nokia 5 is currently the cheapest device running Android 7.0 Nougat.
